Project Overview

The potential for significant gold and copper mineralisation in the Peak Hill district of Western Australia region is highlighted by Sandfire Resources’ recent discovery of the DeGrussa and Conductor VMS style gold-copper mineralisation. The discoveries occur within the volcanic Narracoota Formation which also extends SW through four of Rubianna’s tenements.

Historic exploration over the Company’s tenements has mainly targeted shallow lode gold mineralisation in areas generally covered by transported sediments. In these areas, the transported cover was rarely penetrated to sufficiently test the underlying bedrock and consequently, Rubianna’s project areas are considered to be largely under-explored using appropriate and modern exploration techniques.

Rubianna’s properties are well located with respect to the regional geological and structural setting and are considered to be prospective for gold and base metal mineralisation.
